EXCITING NEWS FROM OEA THEATRICAL!

We're thrilled to announce that OEA Theatrical is expanding in 2027 with AFTER-SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES AND SUMMER THEATRE CAMPS!

Following the success of our inaugural production of Oliver! this past July, we're excited to create even more opportunities for young performers throughout the Central Coast to discover the magic of live theatre!

Our new performing arts program will give children the opportunity to experience what it's like to be part of a theatrical production while developing their skills in acting, singing, dancing, movement, character development, and stage performance.

And the best part? Our classes will be production-based, giving students the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a show of their own!

​

Whether your child has years of theatre experience or has never stepped foot on a stage, our program will provide a welcoming, encouraging environment where every student can learn, grow, and shine. We'll focus on building confidence, creativity, teamwork, communication skills, and friendships, all while working toward the excitement of a final performance for family and friends.

OUR 2027 PROGRAM SCHEDULE

WINTER SESSION | JANUARY–FEBRUARY

Our first after-school performing arts session will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays for two hours each day. Students will work with our creative team on music, choreography, acting, and staging as they prepare for their own theatrical performance.

SPRING SESSION | APRIL–MAY

Our second after-school session will also meet Tuesdays and Thursdays for two hours each day, offering another exciting opportunity to participate in a production-based theatre experience. New students are welcome, and returning performers can continue developing their skills while exploring new characters, songs, and choreography.

 

SUMMER THEATRE CAMP | JULY

Get ready for two exciting weeks of musical theatre! Our summer camp will offer a more immersive theatrical experience, bringing young performers together to learn, rehearse, create, and perform. From auditions and character development to music, choreography, staging, and the final performance, campers will experience the excitement of putting on a show from beginning to end.

WHAT MAKES OUR PROGRAMS SPECIAL?

At OEA Theatrical, we believe theatre is about so much more than memorizing lines and learning songs. It's about discovering confidence, expressing creativity, learning responsibility, working together, and finding a place where everyone belongs.

Our classes will be led by experienced theatre professionals who bring years of directing, choreography, musical direction, and theatrical production experience to the program. Students will receive hands-on instruction in a supportive atmosphere that combines professional theatrical standards with the fun and excitement of performing.

Our goal is to give every registered student a meaningful opportunity to participate, regardless of previous experience. We want every child to feel the excitement of rehearsals, the friendships formed backstage, and the unforgettable moment when the curtain rises!
